    Description

    Black Canyon Consulting (BCC) is currently searching for a Full Stack Developer with OAuth OIDC experience.

This opportunity is full-time with BCC and it is on-site in Bethesda/Rockville, Maryland.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Implement and supporting integration of NIH CIT Authentication System with NCBI IAM environment
    • Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and monitoring for the NCBI login services
    • Troubleshoot ongoing user issues and collaborate with partner agencies to debug and provide resolution
    • Provide support for user account migration and resolve issues efficiently during account migration and consolidation

    Requirements:

    • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
    • Proficient with Python, C++, and SQL
    • Experience with Microsoft SQL server and relational database design and optimization
    • Knowledge of federated identity and web security concepts such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC
    • Programming experience in a Linux environment
    • Fluency in some scripting languages such as BASH
    • Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge & Experience in building JWT, SAML, OAuth, OIDC solutions.
    • Experience integrating with 3rd party applications and knowledge of secured sharing of data
    • Experience developing Django web applications and services
    • Experience with front end frameworks such as ReactJS
    • Knowledge of XML and XSLT
    • Understanding of IT security standards
    • Experience with agile development processes
    • Ability to learn quickly, with good teamwork, collaboration and communication skills and work independently with minimal supervision
