Location: Pleasanton, CA (3-5 days onsite a week)

Job Description-
We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle, collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders, and guide development teams in implementing modern engineering best practices. This role requires deep expertise in full-stack development, microservices architecture, DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and application modernization initiatives, including AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering enterprise web applications
  • 7+ years of experience as a Java Full Stack Developer using Java, JavaScript, Angular, HTML, Spring Boot, React js and Node.js
  • 7+ years of experience developing and deploying REST/SOAP web services using microservices architecture
  • Strong experience with MySQL, MongoDB, Postgres SQL, GitHub, Docker, and Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Strong DevOps experience including GitHub Actions, Bamboo, SonarQube, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation
  • Experience developing responsive web applications and integrating third-party APIs and services
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews, refactoring, test automation, secure coding, and CI/CD
  • Ability to create scalable, maintainable, and defect-free applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience collaborating with global and India-based development teams
  • Ability to understand and implement AI/LLM-enabled solutions while adhering to AI governance requirements
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations and present technical solutions to stakeholders
  • Must be able to work onsite in Pleasanton, CA
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, based on project and client needs
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker containerization technologies
  • Experience with Azure cloud services and database systems
  • Familiarity with Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) microservices architecture
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Experience with testing tools such as JUnit, SOAPUI, Postman, and JMeter
  • Experience leading development teams and mentoring engineers
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale microservices solutions
  • Knowledge of cloud modernization and AI-enabled application architectures

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, integration, and deployment of enterprise web applications and microservices
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to development teams
  • Collaborate with engagement managers, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver technology solutions
  • Design and develop applications using Java, JavaScript, Angular, Spring Boot, React js, Node.js, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, GitHub, Docker, and IAM technologies
  • Develop and support REST and SOAP services using modern microservices architecture
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with engineering best practices
  • Drive adoption of CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, secure development, and software quality standards
  • Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support production deployments
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions
  • Support AI/LLM integrations and ensure compliance
