Responsibilities:
- Work with the company to understand requirements and team architect to drive technical solutions.
- Develop web-based front-end applications and back-end components using approved technologies as per business requirements.
- Ensure unit testing is created and executed on every component and functionality changed.
- Monitor process flows and review alert messaging to proactively remediate potential issues.
- Continuously document all environmental procedures.
- Investigate level 3 issues and influence change with development teams to improve system stability and business objectives.
- Work collaboratively with other functional teams to investigate and remediate data quality issues.
- Improve personal and team productivity through innovations and use of available tools.
- Comply with mandated policies and procedures and contribute in procedural improvements.
- Accurately estimate effort for assigned tasks to the team and consistently meet commitments.
Requirements:
- Strong technical skills.
- Strong experience with Software Development Lifecycle processes.
- Experience delivering projects as part of a cross-location team.
- Hands-on ability to create technical specifications.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and TestNG.
Preferred Skills:
- 10 years minimum core Java experience.
- 10 years of experience with Spring Boot, Java messaging EMS, and REST services.
- 3 years of experience in UI development with Angular (from version 5 up) and Bootstrap.
- 3 years of experience with ECS Container.
- Experience with Hibernate framework.
- Basic Unix/Linux commands.
- Experience with Mongo and Oracle Database - general CRUD activity.
