Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience designing, developing, modernizing, and supporting enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, SQL, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms.

This role will focus on developing and modernizing business-critical applications, supporting production environments, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and delivering scalable, secure, and reliable solutions. The candidate should be comfortable working with legacy enterprise systems and translating them into modern, cloud-ready architectures.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience developing and delivering enterprise applications.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.

• Strong SQL and relational database expertise.

• Experience with React and modern frontend development.

• Strong experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

• Proven experience modernizing, re-engineering, or migrating legacy enterprise applications.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or OCI.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern engineering practices.

• Ability to understand complex legacy systems and translate them into scalable, modern solutions.

• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex issues across application, API, database, infrastructure, and UI layers.

• Ability to independently drive technical initiatives from discovery and design through implementation and delivery.

• Strong Agile development, code review, testing, and software development lifecycle experience.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale, customer-facing enterprise applications in cloud environments.

• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, data integration, and reporting solutions.

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, AppDynamics, or similar platforms.

• Experience with DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native architectures.

• Experience with event-driven systems and distributed applications.

• Experience supporting high-volume, business-critical applications.

• Experience in healthcare, financial services, banking, insurance, or other regulated industries.

• Experience with healthcare portals, customer portals, digital self-service platforms, or similar applications.

• Experience with SRE practices, operational excellence, leadership, mentoring, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and SQL.

• Develop and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.

• Analyze and modernize legacy enterprise applications and migrate them toward modern architectures.

• Troubleshoot complex issues across application, API, database, infrastructure, and UI layers.

• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions to prevent recurring issues.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries and support database performance tuning.

• Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, product, and business teams.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, automation, and observability improvements.

• Support production environments and high-priority incidents as required.

• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.

• Drive technical initiatives independently from discovery and solution design through implementation and delivery.

• Ensure solutions meet applicable security, reliability, scalability, and operational standards.

AI & Modern Engineering

• Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other GenAI solutions to improve development productivity.

• Use AI-assisted tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, automation, and knowledge management.

• Apply AI tools responsibly in accordance with enterprise security, privacy, and compliance standards.
