Overview:
Seeking a Full-Stack Developer to support GSA OCIO's Application and Enterprise Architecture task area. This role provides hands-on development expertise for modernizing GSA's applications, supporting cloud transformation, and building APIs and web applications using modern software development techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Provide full-stack development expertise for GSA applications.
- Support cloud transformation initiatives.
- Develop APIs and web applications.
- Work with low-code/no-code platforms (ServiceNow, Salesforce, etc.).
- Utilize Angular, JavaScript frameworks, Git/GitHub (CI/CD Pipelines), MySQL (or general SQL database management), Python, Node.js, and Microsoft IIS.
- Apply modern software development techniques and best practices.
- Support database transformation efforts.
- Ensure all deliverables meet Section 508 accessibility standards.
- Document code, designs, and processes for knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with UX designers, architects, and program managers in an agile environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in full-stack development.
- Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript frameworks, Git/GitHub (CI/CD Pipelines), MySQL (or general SQL database management), Python, Node.js, Microsoft IIS.
- Experience with low-code/no-code platforms (ServiceNow, Salesforce, etc.).
- Experience developing APIs and web applications.
- Experience with modern software development techniques.
- Active HSPD-12 clearance or favorable determination by contract award.
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with DevSecOps.
- Experience with database transformation.
- Experience with federal accessibility standards (Section 508).
Schedule & Work Conditions:
- Core Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays.
- Work Location: Primarily remote; occasional in-person meetings at GSA Headquarters (Theodore Roosevelt Building, 1900 E Street NW, Washington, DC) as requested by the COR.
- Travel: Local travel within 50 miles of GSA sites in the Washington, DC metropolitan area is not reimbursable. No other travel is expected.
- Telework: Ad hoc or situational telework is authorized with prior approval from the Task Order Contracting Officer. Telework reports must be submitted by the end of each telework day.
- Security: Must maintain HSPD-12 credential and favorable background investigation throughout the life of the task order.
