You'll be part of a small, high-performing, and fast-moving engineering team where your code will be in production and in front of customers quickly.As part of an AI-first company, you''ll be expected to stay current with the latest tools and trends in AI and software development, and bring that knowledge into how we build and scale our platformIf you''re eager to learn, ship production code, and build with modern AI in mind, this is a chance to jumpstart your career and grow fast.This is a hybrid role based in New York City, with the team working from the office 3 days a week to foster collaboration, mentorship, and a strong team culture.What You Will do Build and maintain front-end and back-end features in our web application.Work with modern frameworks like React and back-end services in Node.js or Python.Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to bring intuitive features to life.Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in AI, GenAI, and dev tooling-and use that awareness to inform product and engineering decisions.Experiment with and integrate AI tools and APIs to enhance the user experience.Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews, testing, and deployment pipelines.Learn fast by working side-by-side with senior engineers and directly with the founding team.Ideal Candidate CompetenciesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field-or equivalent experience.3+ years of experience in Software EngineeringFamiliarity with modern web development frameworks and tools (e.g., React, TypeScript, Next.js).Exposure to backend development with Python, Node.js, or similar.Interest in and awareness of the current AI ecosystem, including APIs, libraries, and best practices.Understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), Git, and collaborative dev workflows.Curiosity, resourcefulness, and a growth mindset-you're not afraid to dive into something new.Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.Why Yogi?We're in a rare and exciting position.
