Full-Stack Java Developer (AI-Enabled Development)

We are seeking a Full Stack Java Developer with a strong backend focus to build and enhance scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate has deep experience with Java and Spring Boot, is comfortable contributing across both backend and frontend development, and actively leverages AI tools as part of their day-to-day software development workflow.

This role will work across the full application stack, with approximately 70% backend and 30% frontend development. Engineers on this team will be building AI-enabled functionality and AI agents as part of future development initiatives. Prior experience building AI agents is not required; however, candidates should be comfortable developing software with AI tools and eager to build AI-powered solutions.

Description

The Full Stack Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications using modern Java and Spring Boot technologies. This individual will be responsible for backend services, APIs, integrations, database development, distributed application architecture, and modern frontend development.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex technical problems, is comfortable working across the application stack, and actively incorporates AI into their software development process. This team uses modern AI development tools to accelerate coding, testing, troubleshooting, and engineering productivity, and developers will have the opportunity to build AI-powered features and AI agents as part of the platform.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

• 5 10 years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical field
• Strong hands-on Java development experience
• Strong experience developing Spring Boot microservices
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases
• Experience developing modern frontend applications using Angular, React, Stencil, or other JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
• Experience developing enterprise-scale applications
• Experience working in Agile/iterative software development environments
• Actively uses AI-assisted development tools as part of day-to-day software development
