Job Title: Full-stack Java Developer

Duration: 18 months with high FTE conversion potential

Location: Charlotte, NC

Required Pay Scale: $60-65/hr W2

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Open Banking Channel Software Engineer to join a growing team responsible for developing digital products, mobile applications, and industry-standard API solutions within the financial services space. This role will support vendor and FinTech API integrations, including inbound and outbound integrations that enable customer-permissioned data sharing and provide clients with comprehensive views of their banking data.

Project Details:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain RESTful APIs and web services supporting digital and mobile applications.
• Build API solutions using Java and Spring Boot within an enterprise financial services environment.
• Develop and support integrations using both REST and SOAP web services.
• Work with API components including authorization, gateways, monitoring, data exchange, and end-to-end transaction flows.
• Develop UI components using Angular or React as needed.
• Build integrations with third-party vendors, FinTech platforms, and external services.

Must Haves

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience building and developing REST APIs.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot development experience.
• Strong SOAP and REST web services experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing API solutions for digital, mobile, or customer-facing applications.
• Front-end development experience with Angular or React.
