Contractor – Full Stack Java Developer to support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications. This role requires strong hands-on experience in
Java,
Spring Boot,
Angular,
AWS, and
Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across both frontend and backend technologies, building secure APIs, and supporting cloud-based application deployments.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and enhance responsive, user-friendly frontend applications using Angular
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs between frontend and backend systems
- Participate in application design, development, testing, debugging, and deployment activities
- Deploy, manage, and support applications in AWS and Azure environments
- Implement security, validation, and business logic using industry best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps
- Perform code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and maintainability
- Troubleshoot production issues and support application stability and performance
- Follow SDLC, Agile, and enterprise development standards throughout delivery
Required Skills and Experience- Strong experience in Java development
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
- Strong frontend development experience with Angular
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
- Hands-on cloud experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure
- Understanding of secure application development practices
- Experience with version control tools such as Git
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools(Splunk, Honeycomb or ThousandEyes)
- Prior experience supporting enterprise or mission-critical applications
- Exposure to financial services or regulated environments is a plus
