The Search Team within Retail Web Technology is responsible for building and enhancing scalable, high-performance search experiences across client-facing digital platforms. The team focuses on improving search relevance, performance, and user experience by leveraging modern cloud-native architectures, microservices, and intelligent data processing. The team operates in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with product, architecture, and business partners to deliver client-centric solutions and drive continuous innovation.
As a Software Developer - Sr. Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end full-stack features within the Search platform. This role focuses on building scalable applications, improving search relevance and performance, and working within established architecture while adopting modern engineering and AI-assisted development practices.
What you have
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 4+ years of full-stack development experience
- Strong expertise in Angular, JavaScript, C#, .NET Core, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs
- Experience building microservices and cloud-native applications
- Experience building Single Page Applications using Angular or similar frameworks
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and performance optimization techniques
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and Agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving ability, communication skills, and ability to work across distributed teams
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and exposure to AI and machine learning concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with search platforms
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with Splunk or similar monitoring and observability platforms
- Familiarity with test-driven development, behavior-driven development, and modern testing frameworks
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments
- Advanced experience integrating AI and machine learning capabilities into production systems
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, automation frameworks, and intelligent workflows
In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
