Full Stack React Developer - 3626617

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Full Stack React Developer position! This is a 24 month contract and will be hybrid on site 2 days per week in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead development of a new front office Primary+ Book Building Application, working directly with global Debt Capital Markets teams to implement functional and data requirements
• Architect and deliver reusable component libraries and UI patterns that enable scalable, maintainable front-end development across the organization
• Build responsive, accessible (WCAG-compliant) interfaces with optimized performance including rendering efficiency, bundle size optimization, and intelligent caching strategies
• Collaborate with Technical Leads across global locations (China, Pune, London, Canada) to shape features, releases, and technical solutions that meet user requirements
• Drive quality standards by writing comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests while maintaining CI pipelines and test coverage targets
• Conduct code reviews, lead pair programming sessions, and mentor development team members to elevate code quality and technical capabilities
• Document functionality and implementation patterns for use across global IT systems and provide knowledge transfer to team members
• Provide third-line support when necessary and participate in occasional weekend support for production releases

What You'll Need to Have:

• Strong full-stack development experience spanning front-end development through back-end database design and implementation
• Expert-level proficiency in React, Redux Toolkit, ES6, TypeScript, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks with deep understanding of Single Page Application architecture
• Solid working experience with microservices frameworks (particularly Vert.x) and demonstrated understanding of microservice-based application architecture and design patterns
• Proven ability to write complex SQL queries with knowledge of SQL tuning in Oracle and Postgres database environments
• Strong foundation in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies with hands-on implementation experience
• Experience with formal release procedures, source control systems (GitHub), dependency scanning, and vulnerability patching processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work effectively within multi-site teams across different work cultures
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage priorities independently, and take ownership of tasks through to ultimate resolution

Pay Range: $65-$70/hr
