Job Title: Full Stack Software Engineer – React/Next.js & AWSLocation: Columbus, OH / Wilmington, DE
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and deliver secure, scalable, high-quality production applications in an Agile environment.
- Build modern, responsive, and user-friendly web applications using JavaScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Develop and integrate backend services using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Build and maintain event-driven applications using Apache Kafka, including producers and consumers.
- Develop, deploy, and support applications and infrastructure within AWS.
- Participate in application design, development, testing, code reviews, debugging, and production support.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, operations, and other technology teams to deliver business solutions.
- Contribute to system design discussions and identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Support observability, monitoring, incident triage, and production stability using tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or Grafana.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies to improve development productivity and code quality.
- Follow established engineering standards, SDLC practices, security guidelines, and coding best practices.
- Take ownership of assigned development tasks from requirements through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Contribute to SEO/search optimization and modern web experiences where applicable.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, formal training, or equivalent experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with React and JavaScript.
- Experience with Next.js is highly preferred.
- Strong experience with Node.js and RESTful services.
- Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing microservices-based applications.
- Strong experience with AWS Cloud Services.
- Hands-on experience with Apache
