About the Role:Griffiths, PC is seeking a motivated and adaptive Full-Time Associate to join their growing team in San Francisco, CA, focusing on the dynamic and fast-evolving fields of Renewable Energy and Data Center Infrastructure. Responsibilities:• Advise clients on transactional and regulatory matters related to renewable energy projects and data infrastructure development
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including power purchase agreements, development agreements, and infrastructure contracts
• Conduct legal research on energy regulation, land use, permitting, and emerging generation and data center compliance issues
• Support due diligence processes for energy and infrastructure transactions and project financing
• Monitor regulatory developments at the federal, state, and local levels affecting the renewable energy and tech infrastructure sectors
• Communicate directly with clients to provide legal guidance and project updates
Requirements:• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California State Bar (or eligibility for admission)
• Experience in energy law, infrastructure transactions, or related practice areas
• Familiarity with renewable energy project development, power markets, or data center operations preferred
• Strong transactional drafting and contract negotiation skills
• Excellent legal research and written communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a collaborative, client-focused mindset
