Job Description
The bartender plays a crucial role in a restaurant setting, primarily responsible for preparing and serving drinks that consistently meet specifications. Operating as a solo bartender, this position demands proficiency in classic cocktail mixology and craft cocktails, exemplary customer service, and efficient cash handling. The role requires maintaining a clean and safe bar area while managing inventory and orders independently.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve drinks with expertise in classic and craft cocktails.
- General knowledge of various spirits, beers and wines.
- Deliver excellent customer service to patrons
- Manage inventory and replenish stock as needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and safety compliance in the bar area
- Take and process customer orders efficiently
- Perform regular bar maintenance and cleaning tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of bartending experience
- Strong cocktail preparation skills
- Proven customer service and communication abilities
- Experience with cash handling and POS systems
- Excellent attention to detail and multitasking capacity
