Overview: We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Substitutes. As a Substitute, you will have the opportunity to work in various educational settings, providing support and assistance in the absence of regular teachers or staff members. Must be confonfortable with infants through Kindergarten Duties: - Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by regular teachers or staff members - Supervise students and maintain a safe and positive learning environment - Implement classroom management strategies to ensure student engagement and behavior management - Assist students with their academic tasks, providing guidance and support as needed - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure continuity in the learning process - Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students - Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and development - Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior Skills: - Strong literacy education skills to effectively communicate concepts and ideas - Proficiency in math to assist students with numerical concepts - Experience working with children in a classroom or educational setting - Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies - Ability to provide tutoring and support to students in various subjects - Familiarity with early childhood development principles and practices - Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff members Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience with children - Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classrooms or schools as needed - Ability to follow instructions and adhere to school policies and procedures Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
