Essential Job Functions

• Provides transportation assistance to the City by driving a city/transit vehicle to necessary locations; operating a two-way radio; assisting persons in wheelchairs and ambulatory aids; and completing necessary paperwork.

• Provides customer service to the public by assisting with the elderly and disabled citizens; and providing information and directions as needed.

• All other duties as assigned by a supervisor/manager within your department/division.

• Regular and dependable attendance is required.

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may qualify. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be:

• Education: High school diploma or GED.

• Experience: 1-2 years of related experience.

• Licenses: Valid Class B Drivers License with a minimum CDL with passenger endorsement required.
