We are looking for a skilled Cardiac Sonographer committed to delivering exceptional patient care and producing high-quality diagnostic cardiac imaging.

Position Overview

The Cardiac Sonographer will perform echocardiograms and other cardiovascular ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating heart conditions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound procedures
• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams
• Obtain accurate images and measurements for physician interpretation
• Operate and maintain cardiac ultrasound equipment
• Review patient history and physician orders prior to procedures
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout examinations
• Accurately document imaging findings and patient information
• Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams
• Follow infection control, HIPAA, and departmental safety standards
• Assist with additional cardiovascular diagnostic procedures as needed

Education & Certification Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program
• ARDMS certification required or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) certification required
• Current BLS Certification required
• Previous cardiac sonography experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of echocardiography procedures and cardiac anatomy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
