Cath Lab Technologist Full Time - South of San Jose, CA
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a Full-Time Cath Lab Technologist for a highly regarded hospital in San Jose, California. Job Responsibilities- Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment during procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes during procedures.
- Ensure sterile technique and proper handling of instruments and materials.
- Document patient information, procedure details, and outcomes accurately in the EMR.
- Maintain readiness for emergency situations within the lab.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless patient care.
Education Requirements- Graduate of CAHEP-accredited Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) program or
- Completion of 2-year Radiologic Technology training program approved by the AMA (Required)
Licensure & Certification Requirements
For Radiologic Technology Program Graduates:- California CRT and Fluoroscopy license (Required)
- Any combination of two of the following: CI credential from ARRT; RCES or RCIS from CCI; CEPS from IBHRE (Required)
- Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification per American Heart Association (Required)
For CVT Program Graduates:- Any combination of two of the following: CI credential from ARRT; RCES or RCIS from CCI; CEPS from IBHRE (Required)
- Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification per American Heart Association (Required)
Experience Requirements- Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience (Required)
- 1 year of Electrophysiology experience (Preferred)
