Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) North of Spearfish, SD
Connected Health Care is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time permanent position with one of our valued healthcare partners in Spearfish, South Dakota. This is a great opportunity for COTAs looking to grow in their career while serving a welcoming rural community. Job Responsibilities:
Work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to deliver individualized treatment plans
Assist patients in improving mobility, independence, and daily living activities
Monitor patient progress and document therapeutic outcomes
Educate patients and families on exercises and home treatment programs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and facility guidelines
Education & Certification Requirements:
Associates Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current South Dakota COTA license or eligibility to obtain
NBCOT certification required
BLS certification
Prior experience in a therapy or rehabilitation setting is preferred, but new grads are welcome
