Job Summary:
Childcare Providers work under the supervision of the lead provider to assist with the care of children up to approximately four years of age. Work hours will be 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., 185 days per school year (185 care days correspond with teacher contract). Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and healthy environment.
- Assist with ensuring compliance of all childcare center requirements as a Legally Licensed Exempt Provider (LLEP).
- Work with team members, volunteers and guests in the program.
- Address basic interpersonal skills such as sharing, taking turns and asking permission.
- Help children with basic needs such as diaper changing, feeding, etc.
- Assist with supervision of children in all settings.
- Maintain a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere for staff and children.
- Other duties as requested as pertain to the care of children in the program.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- Experience in a childcare setting preferred
