About the Role:
Soccer Shots Boston is looking for an energetic and passionate Full Time Children's Soccer Coach to inspire the next generation of players! This is an exciting opportunity to combine your love of soccer with the reward of making a lasting impact on young athletes in the Boston community.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate soccer coaching sessions for young children
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all participants
- Teach fundamental soccer skills including dribbling, passing, and teamwork
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding player progress
- Set up and break down equipment before and after each session
- Manage group behavior and ensure the safety of all children during practices
- Participate in staff training, meetings, and program development initiatives
Requirements:
- Previous experience coaching, teaching, or working with young children
- Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals and youth development principles
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and highly energetic with a passion for youth sports
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between program locations
- Must pass a background check
