Immanuel Communities is seeking an experiencedFull-time Day Cook to work at Lakeside, located at 17475 Frances Street, Omaha, NE 68130.  Lakeside has been voted “Best of Omaha” in the senior living category for 15 years.  It has 89 independent, 49 assisted living and 12 memory support apartment homes along with 18 lofts.

 

The schedule for this position will be 11:00am-7:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturdays; 6:00-2:30pm Sundays. Days off will be Thursday and Friday. Holidays will be required.

 

This position will pay up to $19.68/hour + $1,000 Hiring Bonus (conditions apply)*.  Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required:

What You Will Do

The responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including but not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. Additionally, assists in any duty as needed in the kitchen area

 

Skills & Requirements

High School Diploma/GED is required.

One (1) year of cooking experience beyond the level of fast food/fast casual is required.

Minimum age of 18 years old is required.
