Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable 2nd Shift Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained school facility. This position is responsible for routine custodial work and assisting with seasonal deep cleaning of the building.
Salary: $45,000 plus benefits
Responsibilities:
• Clean classrooms, hallways, offices, and restrooms • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors • Empty trash and recycling • Refill restroom supplies and disinfect high-touch surfaces • Report maintenance or safety concerns • Assist with event setup and building security
Summer / Break Cleaning:
Deep clean classrooms and common areas Strip, wax, and buff floors Shampoo carpets Clean walls, lockers, windows, and furniture Moving and resetting furniture as needed for cleaning and maintenance
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma • Prior custodial experience preferred • Black Seal Boiler License preferred; if not currently held, must obtain within the first year of employment • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work • Reliable and able to work independently
