Full Time Distribution Center Receiver [LDC]

If you enjoy solving problems, tying up loose ends, and staying active with hands-on, physical work, join JAX as a Full Time Receiver at our Distribution Center (LDC) on Highway 34 in Loveland.  This role is perfect for a self-starter who prefers independent work and can be resourceful when looking for solutions.

The LDC Receiving Coordinator will use equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts to unload trucks, moving products (which can be heavy or bulky) to store, organize, or distribute them to the various JAX locations.  This position receives products by accurately documenting and tracking inventory, returning defective items to vendors, processing the distribution of product to the stores, and communicating with others to resolve shipping discrepancies.  All JAX employees are expected to provide excellent customer service, engaging with people and sharing excitement about our store.  Customer service for this position requires great relationships with vendors, the Buying Team, and store management in order to get the right products to the customers on time and in good condition. Additional tasks may include:

• Receiving, unpacking, and examining goods shipped, checking shipments for discrepancies
• Verifying completeness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices and other records
• Accurately processing documentation and completing records 
• Printing barcodes for items without tags 
• Maintaining a clean and well-stocked area 
  
• Stocking and loading out items including 50-pound bags of feed
• Complete record-keeping tasks and contributing to reports 
• Assisting in loss prevention efforts
• Packaging, fulfilling, and shipping web orders
• Communicating professionally with staff, other departments, vendors, and customers 
• Presenting a professional appearance and demeanor
• Taking steps to advance teamwork and develop solid working relationships with co-workers 
• Assisting in inventory responsibilities 
• Maintains forklift certification
• Follows all JAX Safety procedures 

• Previous knowledge or experience with shipping, receiving or warehouse work preferred 
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis required for moving products for the store 
• The drive to unload a full truck and still have the energy to do the paperwork afterwards 
• Experience using a pallet jack or forklift is helpful 
• Computer proficiency required

Pay Range:  $16.00 - $17.50 hourly 

Positions:  1 Full Time position available
