Full-Time Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) – Emmett, ID
Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join a trusted healthcare partner in Emmett, ID. This is a great opportunity for an RN who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to delivering excellence in emergency patient care.
Job Description:
  • Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
  • Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a high-acuity setting
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and advanced clinical interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians, trauma teams, and interdisciplinary staff
  • Perform rapid patient assessments and document accurate clinical findings
  • Respond effectively to critical situations, including trauma, cardiac, and respiratory emergencies
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to support patient stabilization and treatment
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care
Education and Certification Requirements:
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
  • BLS – Basic Life Support
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
  • PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course
  • Previous emergency department or critical care experience strongly preferred
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to quickly adapt in high-pressure or rapidly changing patient situations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and professional integrity
