Connected Health Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time opportunity with one of our trusted healthcare partners in New Castle, Indiana. Position Overview
The Emergency Department RN will provide urgent and critical care to patients of all ages in a dynamic clinical setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Triage patients and prioritize care based on severity of condition
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare team members
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition promptly
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records
Education & Certification Requirements
- Active Indiana RN license required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP preferred (must be completed within 12 months)
- ER / Emergency Department RN experience preferred
- Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients is a plus
