Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is now hiring Full-time Entry-Level Assemblers to work with a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier. The Full-time Entry-Level Assemblers role will assist and learn from a senior assembler. The Full-time Entry-Level Assemblers will perform basic manufacturing and cleaning work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This Full-time Entry-Level Assemblers position is based out of Livonia, MI. and offers an AM day shift, plus overtime as needed. Candidates meeting the requirements for this Full-time Entry-Level Assemblers position below are strongly encouraged to apply.
Shift Schedule:
AM day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday – Friday, plus overtime as needed)
Responsibilities:
Assist a senior Assembler with assembling products and sub-components to support vehicle production and other products
Support vehicle and material movement in and around facility
Follow electronic build book for assembly instructions
Clean and prepare components and vehicles for production
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow established safety procedures.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent required
1 - 3+ years of experience required
Proficient with computer usage
Ability to learn and follow written instructions
Ability to perform fine hand manipulation
Knowledge of tools and their use
Ability to focus on details and quality of work
Preferred Qualifications:
High School automotive shop class(es)
Experience performing personal vehicle maintenance
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends
