Full Time Express Care Medical Receptionist

Sadler Health Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full time Express Care Medical Receptionist to join our team at our West Shore Clinic.

As an Express Care Medical Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and interpreters, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You'll perform front desk duties, assist with patient registration, handle insurance verifications, and support clinic operations, all while delivering exceptional customer service.

Must be available and willing to work a flexible schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:30a to 6:00p.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient & Visitor Interaction:

Greet patients, interpreters, and visitors in person and by phone in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner. Respond to inquiries, provide information about clinic services, and direct patients to the appropriate resources.

• Patient Registration:

Register and check in patients by verifying and updating demographic and insurance information accurately in our electronic system.

• Clerical Support:

Perform a variety of office duties including scanning, shredding, handling faxes, and managing documents. Distribute and collect patient forms as needed.

• Phone & Email Management:

Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls, voicemails, and emails. Ensure inquiries are directed to the correct department or team member.

• Payment Collection:

Collect patient payments, manage balances, and close all charges and transactions by the end of each business day.

Full Time Express Care Medical Receptionist must have a high school diploma or equivalent and customer service experience, preferably within a medical or health care organization with at least 6 months of health care/clinical reception, medical assisting, healthcare insurance, express care, or urgent care environment. Preference given to candidates with experience working at an express care or urgent care site.

The position is onsite at our West Shore clinic and pay for this role is $18.00 to 20.00/hour and includes a comprehensive benefits package with a generous PTO benefit!
