Responsibilities:

• Operate flatbed trucks safely and efficiently for local, or regional routes
• Secure and tarp loads in compliance with DOT regulations and company standards
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driver logs
• Load and unload flatbed freight using proper securement techniques including straps and chains
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or delivery confirmations
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all federal and state transportation regulations
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to customer job sites or facilities

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class B license required
• Previous flatbed driving experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of load securement, tarping, and tie-down procedures
• Clean MVR and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
• Strong attention to safety, detail, and on-time performance
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on the road
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
