a2z Physical Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality, one-on-one care in a flexible, community-based setting.


We are looking for an experienced, compassionate clinician who is passionate about helping patients regain function, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life. Our PTAs primarily treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, including patients recovering from motor vehicle accidents, work-related injuries, and other functional impairments, all within the comfort of their homes.

Competitive Salary: $90,000 - 105,000 annually


Compensation is based on experience, productivity, and overall contribution to the company. PTAs who consistently provide outstanding patient care, maintain timely documentation, receive positive patient feedback, and contribute to the growth of the company have opportunities for increased compensation, performance bonuses, and career advancement.

Responsibilities


  •  Provide one-on-one physical therapy treatments in patients' homes under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. 
  •  Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist. 
  •  Provide therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, balance training, and manual therapy techniques within the PTA scope of practice. 
  •  Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in patient status to the supervising Physical Therapist. 
  •  Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to promote safety and independence. 
  •  Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. 
  •  Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, case managers, and the therapy team to provide exceptional patient care. 
Qualifications
  •  Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Maryland 
  •  Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program 
  •  CPR Certification 
  •  Valid driver's license 
  •  Current automobile insurance 
  •  Reliable transportation 
  •  Ability to work independently and manage time effectively 
  •  Strong communication and organizational skills 
  •  Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred 
  •  Willingness to travel throughout our service area 
Schedule
  •  Full-Time 
  •  Flexible scheduling based on patient needs 
  •  Expected productivity of approximately 30–35 patient visits per week
  •  Weekend visits available but not required
