Position Summary
Tryfacta is seeking an experienced Deputy Chief Networking Officer for a full-time executive leadership opportunity in Philadelphia, PA. This position is responsible for leading enterprise networking strategy, infrastructure operations, cybersecurity, vendor management, and network modernization initiatives while overseeing high-performing technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute enterprise networking strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, data center, and cloud networking environments.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and security of network infrastructure.
- Oversee firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and network access controls.
- Lead disaster recovery, business continuity, and network resilience planning.
- Direct infrastructure upgrades, modernization projects, and technology initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and service level agreements.
- Oversee networking budgets, forecasting, and resource planning.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic IT initiatives.
- Lead and mentor technical managers and engineering teams while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 10–15 years of enterprise infrastructure and data center experience.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience overseeing enterprise networking or data center operations.
- At least 3 years leading multiple large cross-functional technical teams.
- JNCIP certification or equivalent enterprise networking experience.
- Strong expertise in enterprise networking, network security, infrastructure architecture, disaster recovery, and vendor management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, budgeting, and strategic planning skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large government, municipal, public sector, or enterprise organizations.
- Experience with Cisco and/or Juniper enterprise networking environments.
- Experience with cloud networking technologies and modern network architecture.
Compensation
- Base Salary: Up to $175,000 (commensurate with experience)
