Working directly with a local Owner-Operator and leadership team, Kitchen Team Members receive hands-on training, mentorship, and real opportunities to grow within the restaurant.

Kitchen Team Member Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food with speed, accuracy, and care while meeting Chick-fil-A quality and safety standards
  • Work across multiple kitchen stations including breading, fries, boards, food prep, and assembling
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures consistently
  • Complete opening and closing tasks as assigned
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance or safety concerns to leadership
  • Stay current on menu items, procedures, and training expectations
  • Support fellow team members to meet daily goals and serve guests well
  • Uphold Chick-fil-A Lincoln Park policies, standards, and dress code

Qualifications

  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to doing great work
  • Positive, coachable attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexible availability, including weekends (school friendly)
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift 30–55 lbs as needed
  • Desire to grow, improve, and be part of something bigger than a job
