Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and healthcare providers
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the clinical team
- Accurately document patient information, treatments, and care plans using Matrix EMR
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and ongoing patient assessments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans and care instructions
- Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Education & Certification Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program
- Active Missouri LPN license required
- Compact nursing license or active Missouri and Kansas LPN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience highly preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Experience with Matrix EMR strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
