    CR/RT NDT Technician - Monroe, NCFull-Time | Local Candidates Only or Willing to RelocateWe are currently seeking experienced LVL II CR NDT Technicians for full-time work in Monroe, NC . Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to the Monroe, NC area. Relocation assistance is available for this position.The ideal candidate will have experience performing Computed Radiography (CR) and/or Digital Radiography (DR) inspections in industrial or manufacturing environments and possess a strong commitment to safety, quality, and technical accuracy.Position SummaryThe CR NDT Technician will perform digital radiographic inspections, interpret results, and maintain inspection documentation in accordance with applicable procedures, codes, and customer requirements. Candidates must be able to work independently while supporting production and inspection operations in fast-paced environments.Employment Type

    Job Responsibilities

    Perform Computed Radiography (CR) and Digital Radiography (DR) inspectionsSet up, calibrate, and operate CR/DR equipment and imaging systemsInterpret radiographic images and evaluate indicationsEnsure image quality meets applicable standards and specificationsPrepare and maintain accurate inspection reports and documentationFollow all radiation safety procedures and company safety policiesMaintain inspection equipment and ensure proper handling of materialsWork closely with production teams, supervisors, and customersSupport additional NDT methods as neededWork overtime and varying shifts based on operational needs

    Qualifications

    Previous CR/DR inspection experience requiredLevel II RT certification requiredExperience with digital imaging software and radiographic systems requiredStrong understanding of radiographic inspection techniques and safety standardsAbility to read and interpret codes, specifications, and technical drawingsStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyAbility to work independently and in team environmentsValid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

    Preferred Qualifications

    Additional NDT certifications (UT, MT, PT, VT) are a plusState card or radiation safety certifications preferred where applicableExperience in aerospace, manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments preferred
