Full-Time Maintenance Position

Covenant Seminary's Facilities Maintenance Team has an immediate full-time opening. The position reports to the Director of Facility Maintenance. The primary responsibility of the maintenance technician is to maintain, repair, and service all aspects of the public and residential buildings on the seminary campus. The work assignments originate from work requests generated by resident students, faculty, or staff. This job is a good fit for those who have:prior maintenance training or experienceaptitude for trouble shooting and repair workability to establish priorities and evaluate capabilitydetail oriented and self-motivated to perform varying tasksrespectful / customer service attitudeJob Duties and Responsibilities:Assist Director of Facility Maintenance in assigning task to part time student staff.Perform maintenance and repair duties in campus Public and Residential Buildings..Work with and support Grounds, Housekeeping, Guest Services, and Events teams.Complete all tasks following Best Management Practices.Ensure safety guidelines are followed and communicate safety concerns with leadership.Assist in classroom and office furniture and equipment moves.Respond to Emergency Maintenance during off hours as needed.Assist in Event set-up and tear down as needed.Be available for emergency maintenance calls (water main breaks, flooding, power outages, etc.).Physical Requirements: The ability tobend, squat, and work on your feet, and to lift and carry 50 lbs.Experience: Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills.
