Job Summary
Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, repair, and overall functionality of our facility and grounds. This position plays a key role in ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for guests and employees.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine building and facility maintenance and repairs
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues with equipment and systems
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks as assigned
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of indoor and outdoor areas
- Assist with general repairs including minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Support other departments with maintenance needs as required
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of building systems and repair work
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Frequent bending, climbing, and reaching
- Lifting up to 74 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 99 lbs
- Working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
Work Environment
- Exposure to temperature changes and humidity
- Frequent use of tools, equipment, and maintenance materials
- Occasional work at heights or in confined spaces
- Moderate to high noise levels
