Position Summary:
The Medical Office Coordinator oversees the daily administrative operations of a healthcare facility. This role ensures efficient office workflow, supports staff, coordinates patient services, and maintains high standards of organization and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily front office operations and ensure smooth workflow 
  •  Coordinate patient scheduling and optimize appointment flow 
  •  Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and service issues professionally 
  •  Verify insurance, billing processes, and patient accounts 
  •  Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation 
  •  Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA 
  •  Communicate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient care 
  •  Assist providers and patients with billing related documentation and insurance reimbursement processes
  • Answer calls, greet patients, and verify insurance
Qualifications:
  •  High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred) 
  •  Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare administration 
  •  Experience in a supervisory or leadership role (preferred) 
  •  Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures 
  •  Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical billing 
  •  Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills 
  •  Bilingual preferred
