Multimodality Radiology Technologist (X-Ray & CT) South of San Jose, California
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a skilled Multimodality Radiology Technologist to join our partner hospital in San Jose, CA. Job Responsibilities- Perform both diagnostic radiographic (X-Ray) and computed tomography (CT) procedures according to physician orders and department protocols.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and image quality for optimal diagnostic value.
- Administer contrast materials as needed, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Perform venipuncture for contrast injection.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, following radiation safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR (Meditech; transitioning to Epic).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Education & Certification Requirements- California State Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) License (Required)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography (R) Certification (Required)
- ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) Certification (Required)
- California Fluoroscopy License (Required)
- California Venipuncture License (Required)
Experience Requirements- Prior multimodality (X-Ray & CT) experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Strong technical skills and patient care abilities
- Experience with Meditech and/or Epic preferred
