Full Time Nanny/Family Assistant in Culver City

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organized Full-Time Nanny / Family Assistant for a busy family in Culver City with two boys, ages 9 and 12, and three dogs. The family is looking for someone warm, dependable, and flexible who can become a trusted long-term part of their household.

The ideal candidate will be engaging and attentive with the children while also taking initiative with the day-to-day tasks that keep the family organized. The family owns and operates a film company, so schedules can occasionally change on short notice. Flexibility and the ability to adapt are important for this position.

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, typically 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
Thursdays: 11:00 AM–9:00 PM
Additional flexibility for occasional extended hours, overnights, and travel as needed.

Compensation: $40–$45/hour DOE
Work Vehicle: A car is provided for work-related transportation.

Responsibilities

• School pick-ups and transportation to sports, activities, and appointments
• Managing and keeping track of the children's schedules
• Engaging with the children and providing age-appropriate support and supervision
• Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
• Children's laundry, tidying, and organization
• Running household and family-related errands
• Assisting with the family's three dogs as needed
• Keeping the home and children's areas organized
• Scheduling and coordinating household vendors, appointments, and services
• Helping the family stay organized while they are in temporary housing
• Anticipating household and family needs and taking initiative without constant direction
• Occasional travel to film sets
• Occasional overnight care when the parents are traveling for work

Qualifications

• Prior professional nanny experience with school-aged children
• Experience with food allergies and asthma strongly preferred
• Comfortable managing dietary restrictions, medications, and inhalers and responding appropriately in an emergency
• Excellent driving record
• Comfortable with dogs
• Highly organized, proactive, and resourceful
• Flexible and comfortable with occasional last-minute schedule changes
• Trustworthy, discreet, and professional
• Strong communication skills
• Able to confidently manage multiple schedules and responsibilities
• Long-term commitment preferred
