Full-Time Nanny in Myers Park for a 4 Month Old Boy

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Myers Park in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 4-month-old son. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, with some days being shorter on Mondays or Fridays (9:00 am - 5/5:30 pm).

The best nanny for this family would be attentive, nurturing, and have extensive experience in caring for infants and toddlers. Each day, the nanny will be responsible for providing age-appropriate care for their son, meeting his daily needs and maintaining his daily schedule (feeding, napping, and diaper changes), and engaging with him in age-appropriate activities. These activities would include, but not be limited to, reading to him, working on developmental activities such as tummy time, going on strolls, doing sensory activities, and fostering a nurturing and educational environment. As their son grows older, the nanny should take him to approved, age-appropriate activities in the community. The family is looking for a long-term nanny who will grow with them and eventually become an extended member of the family.

Nanny Responsibilities:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (feeding, napping, and changing diapers)
• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level, both inside and outside the home
• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child
• Introducing solids to the child as he grows older
• Planning and coordinating age-appropriate activities
• Fostering a nurturing and educational environment

Household Duties (Child is first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing the child’s sheets weekly
• Child’s meal prep
• Unloading/loading dishwasher
• Wiping down kitchen counters
• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child
• Emptying diaper trash

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience
• Have a college degree or equivalent experience
• Have a professional resume
• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Have safe and reliable transportation
• Have a minimum of three professional references
• Be non-smoking/vaping
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus
• Must be up to date on childhood vaccinations, especially MMR, the annual Flu Vaccine, and TDAP before starting the position. The COVID-19 vaccine would be preferred.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts June 1st, 2025
• Legal pay is offered at $27.00 - $30.00 an hour, negotiable depending on experience
