Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Quail Hollow in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 11-month-old and 4-year-old. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
The best nanny for this family would be caring, trustworthy, reliable, honest, energetic, and proactive. This role is intended for a career nanny to be in a long-term position with their family, hoping to build a lasting relationship for the next 2-3 years. They are seeking a nurturing caregiver who genuinely enjoys engaging with children and creating a fun, active, and supportive environment. A positive attitude, creativity, and the ability to take initiative while also following the family’s lead are highly valued.
The nanny will primarily care for the 11-month-old during the day and most of the year, and help with their 4-year-old son when he is home from half-day summer camp, school breaks, or after school during the academic year. Once trust is built, the nanny may be asked to assist the parent with transporting the children to and from school and activities. The nanny will be asked to support early childhood development through hands-on learning and play. Activities may include practicing letters and writing, encouraging fine motor skills, crafts and art projects, outdoor play, nature walks, and strolls in the neighborhood. The ideal nanny will be engaging, active, and excited to help foster learning through play and exploration. Dad works from home full-time, and Mom works from home up to two days per week. The family values professional nanny autonomy during working hours and strives to maintain respectful work-from-home boundaries.
