Full Time Night Shift Custodian

The Augusta Area School District is seeking a responsible, dedicated, personable, and hard-working individual to be part of the District's custodial department. Candidates should demonstrate a strong work-ethic, a willingness to be flexible and collaborate with colleagues in a positive manner, and engage in professional growth to help create an environment that maximizes student potential. Primary responsibilities will include cleaning/disinfecting classrooms, office spaces, and bathrooms, scrubbing hallways, setting up and taking down special events, moving classroom furniture, loading/unloading deliveries, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Must be able to work independently

Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis

Must be reliable, honest and trustworthy

General knowledge of routine maintenance duties

This is a 12 month/year night shift position (3pm-11pm). Working hours are flexible during the school year. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday. Summer Hours (June-August) would be Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm and Friday 6:00am-10:00 am.

Compensation:

Starting wage is negotiable based on experience. There is eligibility for increases each year based upon performance. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, paid vacation, sick leave, and state retirement.
