Nurse Practitioner – Urgent Care | Full-Time
Location: Maple Valley, Washington (Seattle Area)

A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle area is actively seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (Urgent Care APP) to join its growing, patient-centered urgent care team in Maple Valley, Washington. This is a collaborative, fast-paced environment serving a diverse patient population with strong clinical support and modern facilities.

The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.

Position Overview

• Provide high-quality, walk-in urgent care services for patients of all ages
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
• Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision & drainage, and wound care
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs and imaging
• Manage common urgent conditions such as infections, respiratory illnesses, minor fractures, and lacerations
• Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nursing staff, and support teams
• Ensure efficient patient flow while maintaining excellent patient satisfaction
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Active or eligible for Washington State licensure
• Active/eligible DEA registration
• Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred
• Comfortable treating patients across the lifespan
• Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills
