Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Job Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery
• Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and families on exercises, safety precautions, and rehabilitation techniques
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize rehabilitation equipment and modalities safely and effectively
• Maintain a positive, compassionate, and professional approach with patients and staff

PTA Qualifications & Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active North Dakota PTA license 
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Previous rehabilitation or therapy experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
