The City of Lincoln Park is accepting applications for the position of Full Time Police Officer.The annual wage schedule effective 7/1/2026.Start: $68,186.166 months $71,674.5412 months $75,873.8418 months $78,800.5924 months $82,000.6830 months $86,750.75The City shall have the right to place an employee up to the two (2) year starting wage based on previous law enforcement experience.  Minimum qualifications of applicant:21 years of ageLegally employable in the United StatesHigh School Diploma or GEDNo felony convictionsValid State of Michigan Driver's LicenseMust meet all MCOLES employment standardsCertified or able to be certified as a Michigan Law Enforcement Officer. (Certified not required but preferred. The city offers opportunities for paid police academy training.)All candidates must pass a background investigation, psychological and physical exam with drug screen.
