Full Time Porter / Dishwasher

About the Role:
Join our team at Salt Patisserie LLC as a Full Time Porter / Dishwasher! This role is essential in maintaining our kitchen's cleanliness and efficiency, allowing our chefs to create delicious pastries in a clean & organized environment. The position requires you to work Tues 3pm - 10pm / Thurs & Friday 3pm - 10pm, Saturday & Sunday from 7am - 4pm. Days off would be Monday & Wednesday. 



Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently to support kitchen operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area
• Assist in the proper disposal of waste and recycling
• Stock and organize ingredient delivery 
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
• Report any maintenance issues to the kitchen manager
• Deep clean kitchen on days that you are closing
• Deep clean front section of bakery days that you close.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
• Flexible schedule with availability on weekends
