What You Will Do:
Prepare and portion ingredients (chopping vegetables, cutting meats, making sauces, etc.)
Label, date, and store food properly to ensure freshness and minimize waste
Assistcooks and chefs with daily prep tasks and miseenplace
Keep prep stations clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly
Assistwith receiving and storing deliveries
Support with closing and cleaning duties as needed
May be asked to take out trash and recycling as needed
May be asked toassistin sweeping and mopping the floors as needed
What You Bring:
Previouskitchen or prepexperience
Basic understanding of food safety and knife handling
Good timemanagement and organizational skills
Ability to work on your feet forlong periodsandlift upto 40lbs
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain one)
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
High School Diploma or GED
Salary Range:
$26-$32/hr
