Thrive Education Partners partners with families to design and manage educational experiences that extend
beyond a traditional classroom model. We are seeking a Full-Time Private Middle School Educator (7th Grade) to work alongside one
family and Thrive's Educational Management team to deliver a rigorous, engaging, and highly individualized
learning experience.
• Primary Responsibility: Serve as the lead educator for a middle school student, providing instruction
across core academic subjects while supporting academic growth, executive functioning, and real-
world learning.
• Secondary Responsibility: An elementary-aged sibling also resides in the home and may occasionally
require after-school tutoring, homework support, enrichment, or full-day academic instruction during
school breaks, extended travel periods, or other times when additional educational support is needed.
This opportunity is ideal for an educator who enjoys building meaningful relationships, adapting instruction to
an individual learner, and creating engaging learning experiences both at home and beyond traditional
classroom settings.
• Full-time position averaging 40+ hours per week.
• Anticipated start date: Early September 2026.
• Based in Miami Beach, Florida.
• Instruction will take place primarily in the family's home, as well as during travel, community outings,
museums, enrichment activities, and other experiential learning environments.
• Travel may occur on short notice and can range from several days to multiple weeks depending on
family schedules and educational opportunities.
• Learning environments and schedules may vary throughout the year based on educational
opportunities and family travel plans.
• Deliver individualized instruction across math, English language arts, science, and social studies.
• Develop and adapt curriculum, lesson plans, and learning experiences based on student progress,
interests, and goals.
• Administer assessments, maintain learning documentation, and use data to guide instructional
decisions.
• Strengthen executive functioning skills, including organization, planning, study habits, task initiation,
and independent learning.
• Design project-based, experiential, and interdisciplinary learning opportunities that connect
academics to real-world applications.
• Partner with parents and Thrive's Educational Management team to ensure alignment, communication,
and continuity.
• Support participation in extracurricular, enrichment, and community-based learning opportunities.
• Adapt instruction across home, travel, and other learning environments while maintaining academic
progress and continuity.
• Provide occasional tutoring, enrichment, homework assistance, and supplemental instruction for an
elementary-aged sibling as needed.
• The student demonstrates measurable academic growth and progress on individualized learning goals.
• Confidence, executive functioning, and independent learning skills continue to strengthen over time.
• Learning remains consistent, engaging, and well-executed across home, travel, and community-based
learning environments.
• Instruction remains responsive to the student's evolving needs, interests, and goals.
• Strong collaboration and communication maintained between the educator, family, and Thrive team.
