Full-Time Radiology Technologist – Chadron, NE

Radiology Technologist Job Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols

• Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images

• Operate and maintain radiology and X-ray equipment safely and effectively

• Review images for quality and accuracy before submission to the radiologist

• Provide compassionate, professional patient care throughout imaging procedures

• Follow radiation safety standards and proper infection-control procedures

• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation

• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, radiologists, and other members of the healthcare team

• Assist with maintaining equipment, supplies, and departmental readiness

• Support the imaging department with additional responsibilities as needed

Education & Certification Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

• ARRT certification in Radiography preferred or required based on facility guidelines

• Current or eligible Nebraska Radiologic Technologist licensure

• BLS certification

• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, imaging techniques, and radiation safety

• Previous hospital or clinical radiology experience preferred

• New graduates may be considered depending on qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills
