SurePoint Safety is seeking a skilled Construction Safety Specialist (HSE Oversight) to provide on-site safety support across active construction project in York, PA.
This is a local, filed-based role focused on safety oversight and compliance support. This position works directly with project teams to reinforce safe work practices and ensure jobsite compliance. This role does not function as a standalone Safety Manager Position.
Compensation: $35 - $45 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily safety inspections, assessments, and audits
- Identify hazards and unsafe behaviors, support corrective actions
- Assist with Job Hazard Analyses (JHAS/AHAs) and pre-task planning
- Support incident investigations, documentation, and follow-up actions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable safety regulations
- Deliver toolbox talks and reinforce safety expectations in the field
- Track and document safety observations, trends, and corrective actions.
- Provide coaching and feedback to field personnel
Required Qualifications
- 3-7 years of construction or industrial safety experience
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently on active job sites
- Comfortable in fast-paced construction environments
- Must be dependable and responsive for project needs
Preferred Credentials
- OSHA 30 (required)
- OSHA 510 and/or OSHA 500
- CSP, ASP, CHST, OR GSP certification
- Experience supporting contractor safety programs
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, stand, and navigate active construction areas
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
